We are taking a long-term view and making the changes we need in our operations and supply chain for our production to be more sustainable. In 2022, Whirlpool Corporation launched a new program to drive Whirlpool’s sustainability goals further down the supply chain by understanding the ESG performance of our suppliers and identifying key partners to drive supplier innovation through sustainable products.

EcoVadis is our partner on our Supplier sustainability journey and will help facilitate the assessment and process ahead where suppliers are able to share our sustainability achievements and identify opportunities to work together to continuously improve.

EcoVadis offers many resources to aid companies in their sustainability journey, such as access to their “EcoVadis Academy” courses which include training covering a wide variety of sustainability related topics. Courses are offered for beginner and intermediate level content and support suppliers in building and improving their ESG programs and performance. Additionally, EcoVadis provides benchmarks to suppliers related to their score compared to similar companies.
